Hey all, if you record live videos try this. I record into an iPhone, so instead of just using the phone mic, I use a roland goMixer to go directly in. But the mic and bass plugged straight into the goMixer sounds bad. So I tried putting my mic through the compressor, and eq in protools, and bass the same, then took the headphone out from the protools interface, and ran that into the goMixer. BIG difference! Within a few tries, and a couple tweaks, I got it sounding way better. Now I don't need to record the audio separately and put it into a video editing program to line up the sound anymore. It's done as soon as you finish recording. As long as you get the mix balanced on the way in, it works perfectly. Here's what it sounds like, real time bass and vocals.
