Trying to Locate another thread

Hello everybody,
I am trying to locate a thread I found some time ago, but have since lost the url.
There was a guy that made his own 60s fender jazz bass from scratch with meticulous detail. What really stood out was that he wound his own pickups, and even when as far as making his own tone cap!
Everything was really well documented, and the thread seemed quite popular.
Does anybody know what I am talking about, and can send me the link? Thanks!
