Here's my question: beyond saying "I want to start a band", what effort have you put into starting a band....or a least giving the perception of forward progress? Setlist? Band name? Logo? Concept?
Most talent musicians, myself included, despise the "startup". We despise them even more when the guy has done nothing but an ad on CL. While the ideal (as far fetched as it may be for most) would be to throw the whole thing together (including gigs), just having something besides an ad can attract more serious players.
