TU-3 vs PolyTune 2 Mini

Hey all,

Been following these forums for a while now so happy to be chiming in for myself. In your experience would you recommend the TU-3 or PolyTune 2 Mini for bass? I've had the TU-3 for a while now but have been looking to make some room on my pedalboard. I have about 5 pedals and they're all true bypass, does anyone have any insight on the quality of Boss pedals' buffers? I haven't noticed any difference in tone when I'm running through my board vs direct so am not sure if a buffer pedal will be necessary or not if making the move to the PolyTune.

Thanks!

Seems you have the TU-3 already. Can always buy a Polytune from somewhere like GC which has a good return policy. Try it out, and then decide if you like it or not. If not return it.

I always ABY to a tuner as the first pedal because I've notice some tone suck too... I don't know about tracking or accuracy of the various units, but the most recent purchase was a korg pitchblack, based on visibility from a distance. Some of the mini tuners made me wonder if I would be able to see it easily.

Thanks for all the feedback here! Thinking I'm going to give the PolyTune a go (when I find myself with a little extra cash) and see how the all true bypass treats my board. I just ordered a Diamond Comp so will need that tiny tuner to clear up some room ;)
