I enjoy anything about reptiles. As a child, I really wanted to be a herpetologist, but I ended up a historian.

I would like to see a Tuatara in its New Zealand environment.

Im looking forward to the day when man has evolved past its current state and we look back on present times the way we do prehistoric times.

I don't think humans are going to evolve much (in the classic sense). Given a few hundred or thousand years I think we'll see a breakdown of the ethnic barriers, but not much else.

All creatures are at some point of evolution, things don't stop evolving unless they start to form societies which nulify survival of the fittest


That, and Dolphins are clearly going to take back the land and enslave us, all hail our Dolphin overlords!

I look at it this way, there are still creatures roaming our earth that existed in the prehistoric age. We still have creatures left over from the ice age, etc. Things are getting tense and it won't be long before we wipe most of ourselves out with one big disaster or another. People will have to adapt and evolve if we are to ever make it past the nuclear (pronounced Nuke-You-Lar) age.

And by that point only the cockroaches will need to worry about evolution. Unless we build large chambers for people to live in . . . we could call them vaults!

Well, if nuclear radiation spread over a large space of the earth, in a slow enough manner, Im sure a lot of people would get sick and die, while others, like say those with more previous exposure to radiation, may be able to adapt to the new enviroment.

Or, maybe it won't be nuclear at all. Maybe it'll be Captain Trips, or some crazy virus in that vain, and only a small population will be immune and will be charged with the duty of repopulating the planet.

Man's next step in evolution is surely dawning. Maybe 2012 is something entirely different than is/was believed.
