Tube replacement for Ashdown Valve Drive?

Talking with some other Ashdown owners, it came up they replaced the stock tube for the valve drive with burned in Groove Tubes. I can't find any info on how to actually go about doing this though, and seeing as how I just got the thing a few weeks ago I'm reluctant to just hack into it. Any advice? Regarding tube choice too!:hyper:
