Awesome bass. I have a TWX4. I like it a lot, so does everyone who's played it. They had an owner split and dispute so info is tough. Look up tune bass technology. The info on the site is correct, just the country of mfr was in question. Dosent matter much though as both are built well. Korea built the solid colors. Japan the nice tops
Japan models had a brass nut and a different neck pocket. Ibanez got the SR design and neck profile from the original "bass maniac " model back in the 80's. Their a really under rated / unknown bass and can be found pretty cheap. Never played a bad one regardless. Of where it was built.

I have two MIJ BASS MANIACS (fretted/fretless) and the B string on the fretted is just monsterous! Very deep, articulate.... the pre's on those basses are really nice as well. They were known as the "King Bass" model... GOOD ON YOU!
