Tune ?

I once had a white Tune Bass Maniac f/less bass w-a-y back in the day.I didn't keep it long enough to even remember how it played and sounded.This was back in the 80's.When I first discovered a bassist named Jaco(anyone heard of him??)
I do remember one detail though.It definitely had more than 24 frets,that's for sure.IIRC,the f/board went all the way up to the P-style pup (P&J configuration).

The first ESP basses I played were copies of the Bass Maniac and I loved them.

I feel a bit wierd about how the name is now applied to two companies, one japanese and one korean, and both claim to be 'the real deal'. Not sure how that came about, but the korean website looks a little bit dodgy.

I have the Tune "Casipoea" 4 string active bass(in black...)and she is "unreal"! Tone is "infinate",you can get whatever tone you can dream of out of her. I put "Roto's" on her and,MAN!...Tone "heaven"!(thinking about putting "DR's" on her.) Sam Ash was selling them for awhile...but could not pass them off. They were practicly "giving" them away. I got mine for $200.00 plus tax...new in the box,untouched. No amount of money can buy her from me,that's how good she "sounds&feels"! Get one if your able to,"QUICK"...before you lose out on it,or you "will" regret it!
