I have a snark super tight tuner that I just started using, the problem is that when I pluck the E string the tuner says its the F string. How do I fix this?

This happened to me while I was tuning my six string on guitar tuna, all I had to do was tune it up a few times and it fixed the problem. Unfortunately this did not fix the tuning problem I have rn.I had the same problem with the Guitar Tuna app yesterday. It detected wrong strings like 1/3 of the time.
It might be sharp. And no it doesn't have an F string.Could it be your E string is simply sharp? Does your bass even have an F string?

Snark tuners totally suck in my experience.
Your E string is tuned way too high. Nothing is wrong with your tuner.I have a snark super tight tuner that I just started using, the problem is that when I pluck the E string the tuner says its the F string. How do I fix this?
I tuned my E string down and it still didn't work. And yes, this is my first bass.Your E string is tuned way too high. Nothing is wrong with your tuner.
