TC Polytune 3 is the correct answer. Best tuner pedal you can get, especially if you ever play on an outdoor stage in the daytime.

This is what I went with recently....
And it is well worth the extra $ - not only options like always on - you can change the color of the display, it's large enough to read easily and a ton of other features that I have not gotten to...

I just got one of these. The large display is what finally sold me - easily legible after 4 or 5 beers.

Awesome tuner pedal with lots of user controllable settings/adjustments. Or not (if you just want to plug in and tune)

If you don't want your audience to hear you changing your tuning, you could simply get a Hipshot Xtender. With a little practice you can flip it in a fraction of a second.

I've been looking for a tuner pedal that is always on. But can also be muted and used when the footswitch in engaged. Basically I'm looking for something that I can use to downtune in the middle of a song without muting.

The Boss TU3w has the two outputs which allows you to do either or. So my question is if I ran a Y cable from both outputs would this allow me to do what I want?
