Alas, the T-REX still has a side-mounted power jack.

Older Original Peterson Strobostomp had top-jacks. One step forward...
WTFudgsicle~ Why did Peterson go with sidejacks on the latest big-screen tuner? Two steps to the side and wayyyy back...

Use to be you sent your EB Vol/Exp pedal off to an outfit such as SHNOBEL TONE to mod it with a tuner, but now EB offers tuners straight from the EB factory with top-jacks, of course.



From the Polytune thread, Boss' TU-1000 is bigger than some stages I've played on, but at least it has top-mounts:

< A better size reference.

Then the Boss people tried to save space by omitting the stomper on the TU-3...

Yup, that sure saved a lot...
I'll be sure to stick one of these in my pre-amp's always-on tuner-out.
