Hello
Is there any reason to have tuner in the chain ?
I have Boss TU-3 and it's my only effect. I Prefer configuration "plug and play".
My Rick is rock solid in the term of tuning stability so before I start to play i plug in to my tuner, check the tuning, plug out and plug cable into my amp(GK MB115II). So I sparsely check the tuning because I know that I'm in tune.

Any pros and cons ?
I know all Boss effects are buffered, but I don't use long cables. Currently I use something like 3.6 m simply plugged from bass to amp.

A clip on tuner would work for you. Clip it on the head stock and tune up. You can leave it on or take it off each time. Simply turn yoiur volume all the way down and tune up. It uses vibration to tune.

I don't have any problem to disconnecting this tuner from chain, I just want to know is there any good reason to keep the tuner plugged alone.

Not necessarily true. If you’re running a longer stage cable or like the very slight improvement a buffer can bring then the pedal can be helpful. It’s also handy as a “mute” switch on stage for tuning, switching instruments, etc.

For live sound one tuner pedal would have no noticeable effect on your sound. The ease of tuning and using it as a mute outweigh anything you think you are going to hear.

Yes! Leave the tuner plugged in and you have an instant mute switch anytime you have a break in the gig, need to change basses, etc. And as others have said, there is a buffer in there that helps push the signal over long cable runs if you need it (but how far is your amp going to BE from the tuner, really?) or could help specific other pedals you might like in the future.
