Tuners.

Hey bass world, I've been out of it for awhile but I'm back and would like to know of some great tuners out there for bass guitars. I'm not interested in rack mount ones but I am also not interested in cheap ones. Any suggestions?

Boss TU-3.

Accurate as any tuner around. Built like a tank. Gives you an "in tune" indication. Has a super bright mode so you can see it in direct sunlight. Modes for any tuning you desire. There are no downsides to it.

It's the new standard in my book.

I've read that a few people don't like them, but I've had great luck with my TC Electronics Polytune. Even bought the iPhone app. It's accurate as anything else if you do the "traditional" one string at a time thing, and you can strum all strings to do a quick check.

+more pitch black is quality tuner

i can get it done slightly faster with my rack furman tuner, but its nice to have a second, much smaller one.

the korg is built solidly as well, and its not really that expensive at all (also ive never used any korg gear that wasnt built and desisned pretty well)/

GFS GFT-90 Tuner. Big, bold display like the Pitchblack. Has an out and bypass-out connection. On the normal out, it mutes the signal, on the bypass-out, it doesn't mute. True bypass. Not expensive.
