Double Bass Tuning gear ID?

Hi all,

I recently saw these tuners on antiqued-but-new Asian bass, and wondered if anyone recognizes them and knows where to find them. Something similar is sold all over Ebay, but those tuning gears are quite a bit smaller and have only 5 holes drilled out (these are large enough to have 8 holes).

Anyone know where to get these?

I think those are found on the Krutz Chinese basses.

Thanks all! I looked up the various examples people had suggested, and I don't think any of these are the right match. Note that the gear is quite huge - larger than the oval tuning key.

Given that they were on a newly arrived Asian bass, I'm pretty certain they originated in the East. I'll post this message in 'Accessories' as well. In the meantime, if anyone can source these I'd be very happy to have the name of a supplier.

Paul - From previous "research" I've discovered there might be several manufacturers of tuners in Asia. I saw the one you just posted on a bass at NAMM but I don't remember the exhibitor. I don't think I made notes or took pics but I'll check.

Seems to be the same tuners use on a new Krutz 350 at the shop. Their site [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] doesnt seem to have any info on the tuners.

Yes, they look like the same ones. We aren't selling them as far as I know.
