Double Bass Tuning machines

Hey, Im new to uprights. Bought a used one for 200 bucks but the tuning machines are bad. I'm having a hard time finding them too. What are some medium to low end companies I should look at?

Just to clarify, do you mean medium to low in the money sense, or how "good" they are? I could recommend a few depending on what exactly you are looking for.

Sorry bout that. Meduim to Low in money sense. Dont have the cash to go dumping hundreds in it right now. From what Ive been told, its not the greatest bass in the world so its mostly a "do i want to play uprights?" kinda thing.

When I busted one on my dear old Epiphone, I bought a set from Lemur. I don't remember them being very expensive, and they worked fine.

International Violin has a cheap set. Before you buy them though make certain they will fit by measuring the hole and the length of your peg head.
