1. Quantity over quality. Wear a jimmy and don't be afraid to look at older chicks too. Another rule that applies when you're young is anything that will let you.
2. If you really want one wait 2 years. If you still want one make sure you are not drunk. Most tattoo shops won't give you a tat if you are drunk. You bleed too much when you're drunk. But chances are the tat that you want at 20 you will regret less than the tat you want at 18.
3. It never does.

Take this from someone who has over 60 hours of ink done, wait.
If you still want it in a year or so , get the tattoo done.

2nd thing, find a good tattoo artist

3rd be willing to pay good $$ for a good tattoo.

No, your stubborn attitude thinking you know what you might like or dislike in the future disregarding advices from "experienced" (might as well say old? )people, might be more like it.

I really like koi fish graphics/tats /etc btw, it's not about that, just sleep on it until your 20, a lot of my friends regret their tats and they were sure it was "the thing" and that they'll love it for ever because they loved in the past months/few years or w.e.

As per the tattoo - Go for it! I don't regret mine at all, especially since I've knew what I wanted for years before I got it (which seems to be the same situation as you). Fair warning though, it's kinda addicting in a weird way. I'm already looking into getting a second one

Also, make sure you find a good reputable artist.

1.) From a legal standpoint, don't just don't. If shes like 17 and a half thats okay but keep it in your pants for 6 months.

2.) You just do, or peer pressure works too I guess thats how mine happened.

id say 16+. when i was 18, i was dating a 16 year old. not a huge issue. while still in high school, id say high school is fair game.

tattoos rule. dont get yourself in trouble. not saying dont.. im saying hide them well. how'd i get the balls? well i knew i wanted one. a bunch of my friends were going. so i did. and it hurt. a lot. dont tattoo your moobs, kids. it burns like hell. loved every second of it.

first piercing? well my mother paid for it and watched it. i mentioned that i'd been thinking about it. she said lets go. so i did. i **** fire beforehand, and damn near fainted during (intense needle phobia) but im glad i did it.
