Double Bass TUTORIAL by prof.dr. VITO LIUZZI - " THE ITALIAN BOW" or "arco italiano"

Dear friends and collegues,

this is my VIDEO TUTORIAL about the "ITALIAN BOW" or "ARCO ITALIANO".

In brief words.

We know that the main bows are the french bow, the german bow, the Rabbath bow
the Bottesini bow and viola da gamba bow.

Well in my tutoria I talk about another bow: THE ITALIAN BOW.

The italian bow has these peculiarities: very powerful sound, sound also like Gary Karr,
great phraising, the possibility to play ALL VIOLIST BOWING, an incredible
and large use of dynamics, great stability, no use of rubber.

IMPORTANT:

THE ITALIAN BOW IS NOT THE BEST RESPECT TO THE OTHERS: ABSOLUTELY NO.
IT'S ANOTHER WAY TO USE THE BOW. SO MY INTENTION IS FOR YOU THE KNOWLEDGE
OF ANOTHER WAY TO KEEP THE BOW.

IMPORTANT:

if you like this my idea to make a lot of video tutorials about the classic double bass
in all his technical and musical aspects, PLEASE WRITE ME HERE:

MAIL: [email protected]

I will very appeciate your suggestments.

Thanks a lot and I hope you like it.

Regards and "CIAO" from South Italy
and "UNIVERSITY OF MUSIC G. PAISIELLO" !!!

Vito Liuzzi
