Tweeter going in my Ampeg BA-115 Combo

I love the sound of my Ampeg BA-115, but the tweeter is going, fuzzing and crackling....I am not much of a tweeter guy.

How can I remove or disconnect my tweeter in this litle yet nice sounding practice amp?

Just pull the grill out,remove the 4 screws holding the tweeter,disconnect the wires.

Probably not worth the investment time and money to put a nice tweet in that combo unless you LOVE it, like never parting with it because it is a cornerstone of your musical soul. I'm also not a tweet guy, I'll take a dedicated mid-range driver over a tweet any day of the week.

Wright, the midrange wil overlap de gap in the freq range which the tweeter can't pronounce
