Hey Guys,
I'm new to Bass playing and the Forum. I was wondering, are tweeters really necessary in a cab? I've been messing around with mine and it seems all the tweeter does is cause a high frequency hum. I've taken it out of the box and placed it right beside my ears and except for the highest picking sound I am not hearing anything other than buzz. Could it be blown?
Also, if I decided to disconnect it will that effect the ohms I'll be running at?
