Twiggy Ramirez bass pedals?

Hi all, I'm new on this and I've joined hoping to find answers and advice on what to pedals to invest in to replicate Twiggy Ramirez's sound

I'm starting a Marilyn Manson tribute band and I'm acting Twiggy. I have recently bought a gibson Thunderbird, step 1 complete.

I'm not intending on using a bass rig on stage so I'm looking at various Preamp DI pedals and ones that I have considered are the MXR M80 Di and the Sansamp DI

What I know is that he used Ampeg SVT pro's. Does anyone know what pedal he used to achieve his overdrive/distortion?

I know the Di pedals have integrated distortion but I'm not sure if it is better to use the pedals for the EQ'd clean tone replicating the SVT and then add an external distortion?

Any advice.
Cheers Folks

Rig Rundown: Marilyn Manson | 2018-11-21 | Premier Guitar - here's a recent rig rundown with the whole MM band. Whilst it's Juan's setup, they mention that the Mesa Throttle Box EQ pedal was a pre-existing part of the rig (i.e. used by Twiggy before his departure from the live band). That's probably worth checking out:
Throttle Box EQ | MESA/Boogie®

Then you may want to consider a chorus, and for DI I would imagine Sansamp or Ampeg SCR-DI would be your best bet for approximating the sound of an Ampeg SVT Pro.

Hope that helps.

Rrr guys thank you so much for this info, really appreciate the advice.
I've been reading into the newer Tech 21 VT Bass DI which is said to emulate the SVT more accurately than the Sansamp BDDI or the ampeg SCR DI, I think it may be a solid choice.

Will certainly look at the mesa although I'm pretty sure that will stretch the budget haha. Deffo going to sort a chorus as well, it stands out in the likes of 'the dope show'

Thanks again for your help
