I was born on the east coast, so maybe that's why I love Twizzlers so much.

Lucky Country Australian Licorice is the best in the whole world...period. Red Vines beats out Twizzlers for me, but LC beats Red Vines hands down.

I like em' both. It's really a taste vs texture thing. Twizzlers aren't as tasty, but they are chewier and don't hurt my teeth.

Umm... I'm not scottish? stew is more irish, or an ulster fry. Perhaps I'll order a crate of both red vines and twizzlers, and as someone who has never tried either, I could provide an unbiased opinion.

Yes, they make great straws, but hard to eat the sumbitch afterwards because cold liquids make them hard as rock. I always wondered as to what actual flavor Red Vines were? Was it some kind of synthetic strawberry like Twizzlers? In any event, I am surprised no inclusion of red licorice ropes (a'la Garth's AMC Pacer in "Wayne's World")

Who also recalls licorice laces? Ughh...like eating half-cooked spaghetti and sometimes gets stuck in your throat and you're all *Hack-ack* like a cat coughing up a fur ball? Good times...good times indeed.

I came only to vote for carrots, since I don't like sticky plasticky red candy, but they aren't an option. I'll be off pouting now.

They are! I believe there are only two or three ingredients in them. Sugar, flour, and coloring, possibly some Red Dye. Dont quote me on that.
