I've thinned the herd down to four basses, they're a couple of odd couples.
Two US Peaveys, about as classy and cheesy as they come. Early 2000s Cirrus 6 Maple, and early 90s B-Ninety in Raspberry Pearl.
The Cirrus is all original, 35" scale and strung with D'Addario PRO XLs, I can get any tone I need out of it and it plays so sweet.
I pulled the active electronics from the B-Ninety and slapped a set of EMG Geezers in it, it's sounds awesome and it's fun to play. I bought both used.
Two Squiers from the Vintage Modified Series.
I bought the Telecaster Bass new on clearance from an online retailer, it's 32" scale and strung with D'Addario Chromes. It brings the thud, and I put a lot of stickers on it.
I bought the Precision Bass used in the local classifieds, it was in great condition at a good price. After getting it home, I noticed that the pickup was not the stock Duncan Designed split P, but a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder. Strung with Fender flats and sounds just like a P Bass should.
Just thought I'd share, have a great weekend everyone!
