Like I told you on Thursday, I just got myself a Torpedo Studio!

Anyone else using a Torpedo?

Torpedo CAB is a total game changer, I absolutely love it for bass and guitar. Just picked up the new two notes le bass preamp pedal last week and it's equally awesome!

How would you use the CAB as part of a pedal board only rig with in ears in terms of placement in your chain if you are using a compressor, an overdrive and a DI like the Noble Preamp DI?

Just put it as the last thing in the chain before the DI?

I was in contact with Jack about this yesterday. He offers an insert mod on the pre where you can use the 1/4" out and return into the insert for any effects post pre and eq. That said, he believes feeding into all your processing before the input of the DI will sound just fine. If you don't use the insert, the unit works as per normal.

I'm placing an order in the next day or two and am anxious to experiment with both.

That's very interesting, I didn't see anything about that mod but I didn't ask Jack about this at the time. I put my order in for the Noble a couple weeks ago. Could be useful, how much extra was it to have that mod installed?
