Two Notes Revolt Bass

Another newbie question. To power the revolt you use which power supply. Currently I'm using a truetone cs6 with the 12v output but I wonder if the power supply is powerful enough. I was thinking of taking the cioks dc7... But a 12v and 500 mA output. Knowing more that I feed a hx stomp and a cali76 in 18v ...
Thanks for getting in touch. Ross from Two notes here. A lot of FRFR speakers are simply PA speakers and you can find a great deal of these in a 15-inch configuration! There should be no signal degradation if using the parallel output on these! Let us know if there is anything else we can clarify for you today.
Anyone had any luck stopping the loud popping when going from the dirt/drive channels to the clean channel? Tried to gig with the Revolt and was approached by several people about the popping when switching channels on my pedal
Is this fixable? Tube swap? Something loose? Firmware update? I'm really liking the tones I get from the Revolt but I'm not going to be able to play out with it if I can't fix the popping.

It sounds like the tube has been slightly dislodged during transport - it is fine to ope up the unit via the 4 screws and simply pop this back in. Keep eyeballing these, especially with the current sale. Apologies if this has been answered - can the grit/distortion channels be activated at the same time? I really like stacking distortions. My favorite tones that I've gotten involve an MBD-2 at low gain into either a SansAmp or a DG Vintage Ultra, but I don't like any of those three nearly as much on their own.
I'm also a bit worried this might be overkill for me since I love the tone of my amp so much and consider it a key part of my sound, but then again there's nobody holding a gun to my head saying I have to use the DI out, and the price is hard to beat (there's a few floor/demo models online available for under $300).

Ross from Two notes here! The tones cannot be stacked on the ReVolt, however, if your Bass Amp has an FX loop, you can 4-Cable the ReVolt into this to add 3 additional channels to your amp! Just a thought as you noted you love the sound of your amp - why not build on this rig!

I'm happy to report that my Two Notes ReVolt Bass arrived from Sweetwater this afternoon with the update installed, tube sitting just where it should and getting ready to register the ReVolt Bass for the free cabinet collection!
I am now looking to acquire the Torpedo C.A.B. M+ preamp/DI/Loader as well. While the ReVolt Bass is muy bueno, it will be off the charts with the other piece in the chain gang.
In exploring the utility of the C.A.B. M+ I find a tuner, 5 band parametric EQ, Noise Gate, Expander, HPF and Reverb. Also, the clean preamp patterned after a '74 Fender Silverface Bassman.
It has 32 slots for cab sims/IR's, to include other aftermarket offerings compatibility. Of the stock and free cabinet collection I find 11 cab sims of interest. Of course, the Wall of Sound recording environment and all of those accessable tools, if desired.
One effect in the ReVolt Bass loop and that's it... except for rolling a few tubes in it just to see what we get. But, to be honest, the Psvane 12AX7 tube is extremely quiet and it sounds great!

So, I've been looking into the midi functions and have couple questions PM to Ross/Two-Notes regarding using a simple 4 or 8 button midi footswitch.
It appears that a midi footswitch can on/off a channel on the Revolt Bass. Also appears that a BOOST function can be engaged on each channel (perhaps variable or may be preset...?) Additionally, the I/O on the EFX loop and POSSIBLY a true-bypass of the ReVolt Bass preamp.
My thinking is with a simple 8 button midi footswitch:
(1) Clean Channel on/off
(2) Clean Channel BOOST on/off
(3) Dirt Channel on/off
(4) Dirt Channel BOOST on/off
(5) Mod Channel on/off
(6) Mod Channel BOOST on/off
(7) EFX loop I/O
(8) ReVolt Bass preamp BYPASS
I'm thinking about a sweet drive in the loop that could add a bit more tube drive to the clean channel and stacked on the Dirt & Mod channels.
Bonus in getting the Torpedo C.A.B. M+, the lack of a mid EQ control on the clean channel is gone with a 5 band parametric EQ that is available.
The different routing options are very cool...

Regrading MIDI, that will be fine, however there is no Boost on the ReVolt Bass - this is dedicated to the ReVolt Guitar only. Therefore, for channel switch changes and FX Loop On/Off, you should be fine with a 4 pedal footswitch.

Here is a cool tidbit....
The Channel 3 can have the EFX loop IN and blend with the MIX/BLEND knob the WET signal and DRY signal, while having the gain lower by using a 12AT7 tube, to reduce the over all gain structure breakup, in the output. This gives a much cleaner Channel 3 with more headroom.
(I put a '65 Mullard Blackburn AMPREX 12AT7 in and it sounds smoother overall. It just pulls the breakup back. It sounds great in the headphones and there is plenty of volume.)
I plan to do something with an Octave Up Fuzz in that Channel 3 for a thick 8-string Bass sound.

So…with midi, you could put an eq in the fx loop and for example only use with ch3 to tune it further?
Or…use something like an eq2(midi capable) then change eq prestets on the eq2 at the same time changing channels on the revolt?
