I will add that I am ONLY looking for a Mesa Subway 112 or D-800 if anyone is interested in a trade.
Hello,
Up for sale are my two Fender Player Series basses with lots of upgrades. They were purchased new this year and never have left my office. I have upgraded them both with the $300 + Fender MIM roasted necks from Fender. Hipshot ultralight tuners which were $$$$!!!
Ashtray covers and Fender Corona back neck plates from Fender. The action is set low on both.
The Jazz has the original pickups and pickguard.
The Precision has Fender Original 62 pickups with a mint green pickguard. I do have the original white pickguard and pickups for the P bass though.
Here are the cons...
On the Jazz I drilled a VERY small pilot hole for the back screw hole for the E string tuner that went all the way through the headstock. I used wood putty to cover it on the front, and it has been good to go ever since. Please see last pic.
On the P bass there is a slight scratch on the right side of the ashtray cover that I could not capture with the camera. Also, one of the wires that connects the pots had a short in it. I had a local guy re-soldered it, but I want to make sure that is disclosed.
The necks and the Hipshot tuners are almost worth more than half the price alone on them. They both come with new light scale Fender rounds on jazz and flats on the P bass.
I will pay for shipping and packaging through FedEx with insurance. This will cost me $$$$, but it’s worth it. It will ship in original Fender Box. Please know that they did not and will not come with a case/bag.
They are both great sounding and light weight, but I have no way to weight them. I am only selling them because I have twelve other basses and I mostly play my Fender Professionals that I am in love with!
Asking $600 each for them shipped only conus using PayPal for payment option only.
