Jordan, I would sell it but just know that the pots sometimes "squeal" when you adjust it...I think its just the mid-seep but could be one of the volume pots as well...can't remember. I took it out and replaced it with a brand new regular Cirrus pre that I bought from Chuck.

Question on treble bleed off caps. I have an engineering drawing from Peavey from 1983 for the Foundation. It shows caps on the volume pots of 0.001 pF. My 1992 wiring harness does not have those. Did they change that between 1983 and 1992 and does it make much difference? I see some companies selling a harness with those attached.

Treble bleeds do make quite a difference and are key if you want to retain the high end when you turn down the volume. I have owned a few 80s era Foundations with factory cap only bleeds and did have a 93 Foundation for a little while and also have a 94 Forum Plus. The 93 and 94 do not have treble bleeds.
TBH, I don't really care for bleeds on bass, but love them on guitar. This stems from the fact that I mostly just run my bass volumes in a binary way--they are usually on 10 or 0. On guitar, I roll the volume around a lot to control my gritty tonality. Being able to turn down to around 4-5 and still have a bright, clean tone is nice.
A word of caution, treble bleeds are a rabbit hole: there are cap only, parallel cap & resistor, series cap & resistor, and series/parallel cap/resistor bleeds. That's just the platform, then you have to pick your cap and resistor values! The Peavey .001uF cap is a classic starter point, it's the same bleed that Fender put on the Telecaster way back when. IF you want to experiment with bleeds, best thing to do is get a pair of alligator clip wires and run them out of your control cavity, start hooking up caps and resistors until you land on what suits your fancy.

On the subject of the Palaedium - does anyone who has one with original, unmolested circuitry tell me the value of the blend potentiometer?
I have a circuit diagram but for some reason the value of the blend pot is the only thing not shown. At the minute it has a 500k blend but as I’m rewiring the control cavity (which has always been a mess) and fitting new potentiometers I thought that I might as well go back to original spec. - at least as a starting point.

Sorry to disrupt... Anyone planning on selling a B Quad 4? I have a hankering for the 'graphite sound'.
I was surprised to see you use acetone to clean the body. It eats lacquer and nitrocellulose paint and some poly paints.
I'm pretty sure modern polyurethane paint jobs are safe with it though. I use naptha to make sure I don't make a mistake.
My first Peavey bass was a Fury from 1992 that I got off local Craigslist for $40.
I also got an immaculate 1987 Fury for $65 from local Craigslist.
My best local find was a G Bass for $100.
I'm selling off my Peavey basses this year.
Time to retire and move 1000 miles away so a lot of stuff has to go.

Gen1 Fury getting some love at last night's gig
The Gen 1 Fury is a great bass, especially the ash body ones.
Just responding to my own post. The very knowledgeable @kodiakblair very kindly helped me sort out a Peavey B-Quad 4.
What an instrument! I haven’t taken any pics yet but I am knocked out by the sounds. I don’t think I’ve ever played an instrument with quite so many controls, lol.
