The Foundation should be $150 to $200. The 215 cabs go anywhere from $150-$250 depending on condition. The r600 I can't tell you too much about. But if everything checks out and is in great condition, I'd say it's a fair price. I would probably offer $500 and see where it goes.

I'm a little biased towards Foundations and Black Widows-both are really killer bang-for-the-buck pieces.
A 90s SF equipped Foundation can be worth $175-275 in today's market, maybe up to $300 with a Peavey case. VFL Foundations go for less.
A BW equipped 2x15" cab about $150-$250 as mentioned above. The Carvin head about $100-150.
The $500 offer is solid, $600 is not out of the question if everything is really clean and nice. It's a rig that will deliver!
I have seen a few American Cirrus that were painted finish. Seems like most if not all of the ones I have seen were bolt-ons (that one appears to be neck through). For price, I cannot find any proof (old catalog etc.), but I would bet they were cheaper due to not needing a figured top wood.
Agreed I have recently bought a 1992 Foundation with the SF pickups & it's become my, main player above my 2014 Am.Std Precision. I really like the way it feels & sounds plus the light weight

I'm hungry to get an MIA Peavey again - I played a bandmate's B-Quad5 strung EADGC for a few years and I've found myself really missing that bass. What a fantastic instrument and crystal-clear active tone.
Anyone here familiar with that tuning? Not sure if the carbon fiber neck makes a substantial difference with stability for that tuner - if not, I might pick up a Peavey Cirrus 5 or Millennium one of these days and just restring it.

My 84 Foundation (w/cobalt flats) has displaced all others in the most played 4 string bass category. My 85 fretless (with my terrible fretless technique) gets more play time than my other fours, too! The SF is such a great sounding pickup! I used to have a 93 Foundation and it was very, very light--7 pounds 14 ounces. the 84 is in the mid 9s and the 85 the mid 8s. I'm such a Jazz bass lover that the Foundation was a perfect match.

There was one on eBay for a while advertised as a 78, the serial number started with 78. I'm surprised this guy didn't say his was a 1960. But apparently he saw that peavey hadn't started making guitars in the 60s. But then again 72 is still 6 years too early for peavey basses.
Tell him $90 is even pushing it. I had to sell mine for $100 including a rumble 15

"This guitar was made 1972 that says made in USA on it unless I'm a total moron which I could be you're wrong"

"Look really hard for anything that says Made in USA on that bass, if you find it, take a pic.
….but you wont find it because the Milestone II did not come long until after Peavey stopped making basses in the USA, somewhere around 1998-2000.
The Milestone was made in Korea and Indonesia, that is why it’s called the “International Series"
Also, there are no Peavey basses from 1972, Hartley Peavey was not making basses in 1972.
The fist Peavey basses were the model T-40 bass, made in 1977-78.
They made T-20, T40, T45, Fury, Patriot, Foundation, Foundation S, Dyna, Cirrus, Millennium, B-Quad, G Bass, Sarzo Signature, TL-5, Unity, Forum, Axcellerator, RSB, before the Milestone basses came along."
He did not reply back.

Got an abusive reply when I pointed out it wasn't a Dynabass. Also turned out I was "Wrong". With no model name and only International on the headstock a UK retailer christened them "Dynabass International series"
Poor guy even had a receipt saying so.

Just says Peavey International Series. There's 4,5 & 6 string models,must have sold in the 1000's because it and the Milestone III are the most common listed on eBay UK. All have the Grind pickups, 2 vol/2 tone,flamed tops and are bolt on necks.
I could dig mine out out the attic to check but I'm pretty sure it's Indonesian.
