U2 megan fox SNL

I haven't found SNL funny since the 90s. Mad TV came out at just the right time, because that's about when SNL started sucking. Megan Fox? Meh. Transformer's 2 would have been better if it weren't all, "Hey look. Megan Fox is hot!!!" every two minutes. U2, however, has always been one of my favorite bands. :)

Yeah, it was very meh. It seems like SNL has forgotten how to end their skits. After the first 30 seconds of each skit, you pretty much know what the whole thing is about. I think Seth does a decent job doing the news, but why does he yell all the time??

I thought U2 (or Bono, Edge, and their backing band as I call them) put on a fair performance but their songs make me yawn.

U2 sounded good- the current SNL lineup has some talent but the writing is pretty lame imo...

I didn't watch it for the reason the Megan Fox was on it. I can't stand her

Just for clarification... did you create a coming out of the closet thread not too long ago?

The point is well taken either way: Megan Fox is wonderful eye candy... but her fifteen minutes will end after her eventual Playboy spread :)

That's not a new phenomenon.

I once heard Eric Idle quip in a radio interview many years ago, "What's the difference between life and a Saturday Night Live sketch? Life doesn't go on forever."

I think they milk most concepts way too long. Maybe it cuts down on production costs to have fewer set, makeup, and wardrobe changes. If you watch some of the shows from the first year or two, it's really interesting to see how they had a lot of short-form sketches, stand-up comedy, multiple musical guests, etc.

U2 was good but the energy level didn't seem up to their last SNL appearance a couple years ago.

did you guys catch the new girl that dropped the F-bomb when her megan and that wiig chick were doing biker chick chat? they were saying freakin and frikin almost every other word and she said the f word, a little pause but they kept going on with the skit, megan looked hot sitting there with those skinny jeans and her skinny bod...but not sickly skinny.

I actually think that this last season or so has had one of the strongest casts they've had in ages; a lot of genuine talented, funny comedians. I personally find Wiig to be the highpoint; her quirky characters are often spot on and incredibly inventive.

I didn't catch all of the last episode (my internal bedtime doesn't go past midnight very often), but what I did catch didn't seem lackluster. Keynan Thomspson got me laughing pretty hard at his sketch.

It's still miles better than MadTV.
