Anyone here using fluxbox as their window manager?

I installed it today and am still trying to figure everything out.

I use Ubuntu on a few computers around the house and on my laptop. Usually it works fine, sometimes it all comes to a grinding halt. At least linux keeps me on my toes.

I installed it today and am still trying to figure everything out.

I tried fluxbox when I first started messing around with Linux and it does require some level of configuration to be functional. The configuration can be adapted for whatever you need it to do, which does have some power.

Personally, I just wanted to use my computer as a tool, so the time investment wasn't there so I just went to Gnome.

Observations?

not worth it over gnome. I didn't notice any speed gain and the right click menu launcher thingy is not better the keyboard launcher i have in gnome.
