Ugliest & Prettiest CABS

Ugly - Hartke, MarkBass (orange drivers?!!! really?!!!), Behringer

Personally, I think the birch Bag Ends are sweet

Also, the tweed Peavey classic cabs, like the 8x10...

Even though I'm not fond of carpeting, the Aguilar GS112 is a hot little number...

And in general, silver grilles look great to me...

Plus, I'm a little on the fence about Ashdown cabs... I think, in general, their heads look great, but the cabs take the whole retro look a couple of steps too far. I like clean lines and simple but interesting color match-ups rather than busy designs...

Definitely Epifani and newer Bergies are among the best looking cabs out there.

Didn't like the original Bergie look with the heavy grill covers they had, so at least for me, they went from being ugly to one of the best.

silver grill, as in the older bergs?

we seem to have the same taste in cabs. nice selection.

I must be in a minority in this thread, I think Hartke cabs look cool with the ali drivers and Markbass with the yellow coned speakers. Most of the rest all just LOOK like black boxes (although that doesn't stop me from wanting to own many of them).

Great minds think alike... silver grills as in older bergs, newer mesa boogie powerhouses, the SWR series III cabs look pretty good. I just think it's a cool design choice. That said, I'm not a huge fan of SWR cabs or Mesa Powerhouse stuff, but this is based on looks alone.

I like that Hiwatt cab, too... and the Sunns look nice.
