Just post some pictures of basses that you find to be really ugly, i think that should be an interesting thread to read and look at. I really think alot of singlecut basses are ugly, but some or really nice look. just post some pics of basses you think are ugly

OHH man, you crossed the line on that one, some type of elite bass group is going to infiltrate your house, then put you in a guitar center with only dudes who plays SRV all the time and say they have better gear at home, it'll be awful.
That BC Rich thing is awful though, the bass doesn't look 1/2 bad by itself.

In all honesty I would murder for that bass. Sweet sweet J bass....

I like most Conklins - but those things you just post are just about the fugliest looking things I've ever seen!

Ugly is in the eye of the beholder, but here goes:

Basses that look like a Gibson SG guitar
Telecaster styled basses
Danelectro Longhorn
Any Les Paul styled bass
Hofner Beatle basses
Any single cut bass, with the exception of this gorgeous little sweetheart:

Do you find it at all odd you're not a fan of the Les Paul or Telecaster shape, or single cuts, but that bass is all three?

Hofner Beatle basses
Any single cut bass

My one exception for single cut basses: Embelisher's SC - the one in his avatar. That one is a tastefull thing of beauty - but most SC's I hate.

i'm the opposite... i don't like p-basses

it's just the split pickup bothers me for some reason.
