Hey lenorules1950, don't let me rain on your parade!!! I mean no harm, or to dishonor what you and others might like. Few people seem to be impressed or inspired by the style of my bass (a Pedulla Thunder) but I care not. rickenbackers, most esp, ibanez iceman, most wishbasses..while kubickis remain unmentioned and absolutely beautiful....the new fender dimension bass is fugly as hell, not to mention the mark hioppus.....and gibsons/epiphones, the thunderbird is one of the most fuglyest basses ever, and bc riches
I REALLY hate the bad taste of Kubicki's and Steinbergers. Sickening styling that should have stayed in the 80's, or where ever it came from. I'm sure heath_the_great has plently of pictures of those fugly Kubicki's to post in here to make for my lack of them

I'd toss my bass in a swamp for 10 years if I was guaranteed it would come out looking like that afterwards....
BTW if I understand the process correctly, spalting is a fungal infection in the wood, not a process of rotting... but I'll take it either way.
I've been TRYING to find a pic all morning, but can't find one.
However, in SamAsh a couple of weeks ago, they had a guitar that was built & painted in the shape of a trailer... you know. The kind Joe Dirt lived in.... It had 1 dual coil humbucker & a volume knob. That's it...

Block me all you want. Not only is it a Kubicki, that wood don't look too healthy. Yuk. Actually, I can handle the looks of the wood.
