Eh, I used to be a snob too. I used to play a Squier P/J and wound up selling it to buy a Musicman Sterling HH. I love my Sterling and whenever I come across people that understand how much money I spent on it, I get respect.
That being said, I recently bought a Squier Affinity Jazz 5 in brown burst. I love that thing. I'm sanding the decal off of the headstock to replace it with a custom symbol that my friend is making for me, but either way, it cost me $220 and it rocks.
