When I moved to the USA I decided to finally try a 5 string bass, but didn't want to put out a lot of cash and not go for it. So I went with a $125 Rogue. It was the perfect 'in between' instrument. Other bass players would try it 'for fun' and say "It's OK" but would go back to their expensive axe. I just got a Warwick 5 string and now I'm the same way - the Rogue is no longer fun. It is a good bass but with the Warwick there's no turning back. I do need to add for those who haven't played a Rogue: the neck is heaver than the body, so if you let go of the neck, the instrument turns upside down.
