Uhhhhh...

I once bought some memory cards, 4, I believe, on eBay. A few dsys later I recieved an envelope with 1 memory card in it. I contacted the seller, and told them that I hadn't recived my full order. They responded quickly, but in broken English, and immediately sent out the other cards to fulfill my order.

A few days later, I got an envelope with 4 cards in it. I left positive feedback, that they were a great seller who promptly fixed mistakes. From the quality of the English in our correspondence, I decided that it probably would be more hassle than it was worth to tell them that they had now sent an extra card. They were a popular seller, they did lots of business, and I concluded that it might cost them more in man wages and shipping to make it understood what had happened, and then return the card than what they would lose on it.

A few days after that, I got another envelope with 3 cards in it. I checked their feedback page, and someone had left a negative comment, saying that they never got their memory card. I made my considerations and came to the same conclusion as before.

I was lucky, they never found the error that lead to my recieving 4 extra cards, but don't assume you will be.

If you do keep it, don't open it for a while, so that if they want it back you're not liable for the cost.

Well, update time... :mad::spit::mad::spit:

Laptop arrived today, and I went ahead and refused delivery so its back on its way to North Carolina. About an hour ago when I got off of work, I decided to take a quick check at my bank account on my phone, as I frequently do, and WHAM-O, -933$ in the red! I am so F-ing p-o'd right now, especially since tomorrow is my payday and I can't even deposit my check! Gonna call them tomorrow morning and get my money back, there is NO WAY IN HELL I'm going to wait for the bloody computer to get back to their warehouse and be processed to get my money back! This whole mess has been ridiculous, from me having to cancel my order originally due to false advertising (the model I ordered was SUPPOSED to have an option to run with dual graphics cards, but it wasn't till after I ordered that I found out after Googling how to get one of these secondary graphics cards, that they were discontinued and pretty much impossible to get, and were extremely buggy anyways. Something that was never mentioned on Lenovos site) And now them failing to cancel my order and hitting me with a nearly 1000$ charge, FOR A CANCELLED ORDER!!!!!!!

I'm sorry, I'm just extremely upset with these goons right now.

F*** Lenovo, and I suggest to any possible buyers, to stay far far away from these guys.

(btw, this is all straight from Lenovo themselves, no middle-man)

That sucks dude. Sorry to hear that. You will get it fixed...question, is it a "pending" charge, or a charge? If it is a pending charge it will drop away within a day or two. If it's been charged you will have to wait somewhere around 4 days to get your money back.

BTW Tommy why do you keep saying "bloody" all of a sudden?

OK, new update

When I saw it last night, it was indeed still pending, and by this morning there was no sign of it at all, so hopefully this is all done and over with. Good riddance.

As for my use of bloody... I dunno, I use it a lot irl when I'm trying to keep things pg-13, and its just a fun word. :D

Latest update:

I REALLY hate Lenovo now.

Through all this I've accumulated 2 overdraft fees with my bank. The bank was only able to reimburse me for one, so I've been trying get Lenovo to cover the other since it was their mistake. Nope. They have no record of the original cancellation that I made the day after I originally ordered it, only the record of the cancellation I made after it was already shipped out to me. So they refuse to do anything about it. They told me that they are going to go into their phone records and I guess find my conversation where I cancelled the order originally, but I'm not holding much hope.

tl;dr: Their screw up cost me 30 bucks.

I said it before and I'll say it again, DO NOT BUY LENOVO!
