Ultimate Gas...

If you could get any (and any number of basses, not just one) for free, speculation not allowed, just for personal satisfaction?

Pictures welcome!

GET THAT GAS GOIN NOW!!!

Me, I am thinking of something fretless, warmoth project or something, not in complete gas mode atm since I have a project bass soon comin in ... but when that one is done .... hehe.

I know nothing of Dingwall models other then the fanned frets but Id take a fanned fret Dingwall totally blacked out to the max except for the frets, those would be polished silver.

A black T40 with a rosewood fretboard.

A '78 Fender tobacco burst Precision.

...another '95 Fender Cowpoke

A black on black Peavey Dyna bass 5 string

A burst Peavey TL5

And a couple off oddballs that I wanted for years until recently but would never turn one down if it was free:

A BC Rich Platinum Warlock

A Black Beauty Les Paul bass

Yea, if any of those were offered to me free, Id jump on them. But I'm not out to get them otherwise. IF this thread was to promote GAS :p its not working on me LOL

I'm just waiting for someone to say a Squier. :D

I'd like to have a Sadowsky NYC just like this:

17 Basses...Wow, I'm a little bit greedy. :D

Sounds like you want a Geddy with 24 frets....hmmm....yeah!

Did I seriously describe a Geddy? LOL I know the black and black block markers but...HAHA, I guess I did.

You know I have always preferred 24 frets. My bat has 24 frets but every one of my other basses has 21-22. I originally claimed that I preferred a 24 fret neck from a visual standpoint, then later said I could get those extra notes with the extra frets as I will play all over the neck. I really deep down thought it was the visual aspect until last week I was trying to work on some original piece and it was up on the neck and I wanted to go up just one more note and there were no more frets (I was already on the G string) :crying: And I realized all my other basses didn't have that note :crying:... I got ticked and scratched the piece....:rollno: Maybe I will pull out the 5 and drop it all down a string and try it there... *shrug*...if I can remember it now...
