Oh my .. that’s sad news .. I’ve played Klein P-bass pickups almost exclusively during the last 3 years and a half 
Comparisons are better than nothing, graphs, or people's attempts to use words.
It was definitely helpful for me to watch numerous pickup comparison videos before choosing the CS62 for my Precision and Quarter Pounds for my J-bass. Watching lots of videos helped average things out across numerous players and recording techniques.
Pickups that had no comparison videos didn't even get to be a candidate.

Let’s cut to the chase - having no issues budget-wise, should I buy Arcane or Kloppmann for top-notch notes articulation?
I’m going to replace the glorious Klein Epic ‘59 I have in my self-assembled P-bass with J neck, as I’m looking for a better sound definition in conjunction with the use of Labella LTF or TI JF344 strings … what would you suggest me to buy (the Arcane, after shipping, VAT and import taxes msg cost the same as the Kloppmann)?

I have an Arcane Pup in a P bass and it sounds dark.
I have Klopmans in a J bass and it sounds great; very clear and vibrant.

I'm in the acquisition stage of building my latest bass. A 1960's style Precision, aged Olympic White, rosewood fretboard.
I've read through much of this thread. I haven't exactly been sure of what voicing I was going to do with it. I was thinking a vintage overwound style pup, such as the Lindy Fralin P-Bass overwound 5%. I also looked into the Aguilar 4P-60 which seemed to sound similar. I also considered the Arcane 65, while similar, it was slightly lower wind. The intent was for a fatter P Bass with flats voice. I was interested in what I would get compared to the La Cabronita Hueca build I made. Maybe something a bit hotter and puncier than the sounds of that build.
While doing the research for a pickup selection. I came across Premier Guitar's Five Different Basses Kevin Scott Needs For Gov't Mule. I learned about Avedissian Pickups and their Vintage Overwound P Bass Pickup, which seemed to fit in the same range as I was looking.
Then I made the mistake of looking more into Kevin's Avedissian KSP SIgnature P Bass Pickup! This one got me thinking, I like the fat, hot, driven sounds Kevin was getting from his P. So now I'm looking at the KSP with rounds. It would be my hottest P setup, even hotter and fatter than my QP equipped faux Nate Mandel cheapskate build. I'll be using it for Blues, Rock and CCM.
I've read of one other TB'er who used an underwound version of the Avedissian P Bass pup and others who've used their Thunderbird bass pickups, but no one using the regular Overwound P or KSP. I know this one is hotter than what I've seen in this thread, but anyone with any experience with Avedissian pickups?

You may just consider to get a very similar tone at a fairly reasonable price by buying a Fender Pure Vintage (PV) ‘63 pickup which I used to refer to as “the cannon” … you may wish to check the available reviews for more infos in this regard though.
I was going to make the exact same suggestion, but then I remembered this is the "Ultra-Boutique" pickup thread - and would thus be in contravention of the agreed upon rules.
The difference in price is negligible at this quality level.

Well, never heard of Mr. Avedissian honestly but the tone you’re looking for seems to me the exact same tone that the humble Fender pickup should be able to produce … then either both pickups can’t be classified as ultra boutique units or the opposite may have to be said in this regard 
I haven't tried the Kloppman PB-63. It's on the list of things to try.
I put the Klein Epic 59 and Fralin Standard Wind on the same level.
I only had the Arcane Experience 1965 in a bass for a couple months - my impression was that it was a lot like the Fralin. (which I like)
I don't have a 59 now, and wish I did. Even just in a drawer. I had one in a roadworn maple neck fiesta red and it killed.
Sadly Klein passed away and the family has closed the business.

From what I can assume listening to the content of various YouTube videos the Kloppmann PB63 and the 5% underwing Fralin sounds very, very similar with the Fralin costing much less.
If it wasn’t for the waiting time the customs process etc. I would have already ordered one ..

I’ve got Bartolini 8cbp in my mij 78 pulser p bass. I’m thinking of switching things up. I did consider the arcane but the tax and postage now just make it unrealistic

The Bartolini’s have a beautiful tone but the highs are to harsh with the woods (Asian ash and maple fretboard) and my xl strings. I’m going to put back the pickups that came in the bass and then change to dr pure blues or ghs pressurewounds.

MB Guitars used to put them in their builds and that's a very big endorsement of quality if you ask me - But I was wondering if anyone here had had a chance to try and sample/compare them to Klein or Kloppman
