Double Bass Ultra-compact double bass stand?

Not sure where this thread would belong, but I'll try here first. Are there any manufacturers out there that make a very compact and collapsible double bass stand that's solid enough to hold the bass yet compact enough to maybe slide in the back pocket of a bass gig bag? I have been looking at the one Hercules puts out but haven't been able to get my hands on one yet, could that one fit the criteria I'm looking for?

I love the Hercules stand. It's sturdy and built quite well. It also folds up and is lighter than it looks like it would be. It don't think it'd be easy to get it in a gig bag-- unless it's pretty big.

You could get it in a bass gig bag easily! Well, as long as the bass wasn't in there too.

Konig and Meyer makes a stand that would probably come close to fitting the criteria you stated. Similar to the old Hamilton stand, but smaller and sturdier. Holds the bass by the C-bouts, folds pretty darn small. Whether I'd want it in a bag pocket is another story, I'd be worried about something whacking against it and transmitting that force to the bass - but, take a look and see...

Seconded. We use these stands exclusively for displaying in our showroom. Very sturdy and about as small as feasible, however it is STILL a bit too big for a bag pocket.
