yeah, In a few days, my new Bartolini P2 CB neck pickup will be arriving for my Carvin.

so.. how do you swap it out with the pre-existing one?

I've never messed around with the electronics of a bass (or guitar) before, so I know NOTHING!.


please help.

don't do your first wiring on an Icon...get someone electronically skilled to do it...you must know SOMEONE who does electronics...if not get a shop tech to put it in.

+1 Find a tech. Won't take much or cost much. Should you HAVE to do it yourself, take good, clear, closeup pictures of the existing setup, especially the wiring connections. Then you'll have an idea of where things go when you pull the stock pu. But really, find a local guitar tech.
