(Un)Official Peavey Cirrus BXP Thread

Well I admire the guys/gals with the USA Cirrus thread but Hey I am a poor boy who after gigging awhile with my Chinese made Peavey Cirrus BXP 4 decided that since we are segregated out from that thread that it is time to start our own. Every gig out I get complimented on my tone and usually how pretty the bass is. Knowbody knows that it is a cheap Chinese made bass. The thin neck of my BXP-4 makes playing all night a joy. Mine is the Quilted top with 34" inch scale. It replaced my P-Bass and I could not be happier. I paid dirt cheap new and can not justify the huge price difference of the BXP and the USA model for the great playability of the BXP model. I wish they made a BXP Fretless in 34" scale. Anybody else who has had great experiences with their cheap (er) inexpensive Cirrus BXP basses? Have fun all you Cirrus cheapskates, Wayne

Go on I'll join I bought a second hand Cirrus BXP 4 string in MAY with the bubinga top, Indoneasian made for the low price of £250.
