Under My Thumb

Well today I was walking back from classes listening to my iPod and Under My Thumb came up on shuffle. I have always wondered... what effect does Bill Wyman use in the chorus? I was thinking it was just an old chunky od pedal. I don't know though? Any thoughts or comments?

Probably just an old 60's fuzztone. It does sound cool.
That's around the same time (mid 60's) that McCartney used fuzz bass on Think For Yourself.
