Back in the early 80's, I first got into Captain Beefheart. I played tracks like that from "Trout Mask Replica" and some of "Shiny Beast" for some friends of mine jsut to see the reactions, priceless to say the least. More times than not, I'd be laughing my ass off!

Try Alvin Youngblood Hart...cool stuff..cool dude ..saw him a few years ago solo a great player...i heard his electric stuff is wild.
