I am now the owner of a Lectrosonics 18R Voice Projector Public Address Unit, a small 70s amp with minimal controls (one dial that clicks to turn it on, then you keep turning for more volume, this also increases the treble.)
It won't be my number one amp, but it is fun, spent some time earlier today test driving it.
I would describe it as being a distortion or overdrive with a speaker, no clean tones, so that limits its use a bit.
But if I want that sound, it's great.
it also has two RCA outlets, one for in, the other out.
I haven't experimented with them yet.
it seems to have been designed as a portable PA, with a clip for a mic, but my slide fits in the clip perfectly.
had a lot of fun with it though.
Since I have an AB-Y pedal I can set that up and a more "normal" amp, and switch between them or have both on together.
the back has a space to hold the adapter. Apparently it had battery power, but that's missing.
