Hello! I just recently found this bass on Craigslist and I'm wondering if it's worth the listed price($350).

Also, I'm having a hard time finding a decent review about this bass, so I thought that this is the ideal place to figure out if it's worth checking out.

They're decent basses. :) If the neck is straight and the controls work, I think it's worth the price. I had one, in 1980. I hated it back then, because it wasn't a P or a J or a Jackson or anything BUT that bass. It sounded pretty good, though. I wish I still had it. I'd gig with it. This one looks like its in really good shape.

If it was in good condition, I would pay $350. For the past year, I've kind of been keeping my eyes open for one, too. I'm also looking at the Eastwood Hi Flyers. They would be newer and perhaps better quality than Univox. I hear mixed reviews on the Eastwoods, though.

I think $350 is completely reasonable. Mine was advertised at $400 (which is fairly common in this area), but i made a bass trade.

It's an incredible short-scae bass. The neck is phenomenal. The body is super light (i THINK they were made from basswood, but i could be wrong), so there's a little neck dive... but certainly not the worst dive i've experienced.

I've played Eastwood Hi-Flyers, Aria copies, Dillion copies, and O.G. Mosrites. The Univoxes are consistently the best of the bunch. The Eastwoods are cool... but there is such a wide range of good and bad, they're kind of a crap-shoot, unless you can play one first.

I say go for it!

I can't see a picture because the link failed on my phone but if it's a model with the humbuckers then go for it! I have one I bought for $20 from a guy who had no idea what it was and it's one of my favorite basses I've ever played. Also it's actually not a short scale. It's a medium scale, 32' instead of the normal 34' or the 30' of a short.
