Unreliable Members

Hopefully you don't cancel your rehearsal because of her. If you do, you're a part of the problem. It's a bad thing when the unreliable members CONTROL the situation.

In the early stages of my "band years" we had a number of people who were very unreliable. The rest of us continued to rehearse, practice, keep our eye on the ball.

Usually if you do that, unreliable members walk themselves. IME.

If this band were all in their mid-20s or older, then absolutely I'd say the female guitarist was making a control play here.

But since I suspect we're talking about people quite a bit younger than that, she may just be a clueless teenage girl who needs to be sat down and asked/forced to clarify her priorities.
