Upcoming NBD: Something a Bit Different (John Kallas Content)

Thanks so much for all of the kind words!!

John is really fantastic to work with, I can't thank him enough for everything that he did for me! I've never played one of his instruments before, but I'm definitely looking forward to this.

I would also like to give a big shout out to Eric Wylie of Warmoth. he was an enormous help in making sure I got the pickups exactly where I wanted them, and was very patient with me.

Beautiful bass primussucks, I'd love to see a review or some followup now that you have been playing it for a while? How does it play and sound? Maybe post some sample recordings?

Just discovered this thread from the current: A Bass with a Rickenbacker sound

I've been pondering building something v similar to this for a while now. How is the neck and mid PU's wired? Are they hum cancelling when both together (like a Jazz) or are they wound/poles the same (like a Ric)?

I used split 51 pickups, so theyre already hum-cancelling on their own.
