You don't have a Box in the states. Those are pretty damn cheap and its easy for customs.

I sold a couple basses on here to Canadians TB 'ers that had a US address across the border. I have NO idea how they got them through customs however

Got my amber VL(the nicer model with flame top) 4 string from Amazon about year ago for $550 or less if I recall correctly. Still in perfect shape and I'm looking to find it a new home. At time you could get SL's and the combo models with a magnetic pick up for under $400.

That's a steal. These are nice basses, and have a very Stingray/ATK vibe soundwise.

How is that head by the way Jumbo?

IMHO great sounding head. very eden like thump. liked it much better than the ampeg pf 500 which i subsequently returned for a svt7 after getting the eden head. SVT and markbass sd1200 for larger venue no support gigs, former for heavier band(s ) were the ampeg grind works..

back to the eden 264.
a little light on watts but for softer bands, small gigs or FOH a great sounding head. very deep and clean head. my other eden has a tubelike distortion which i like at times. this one dosen't have that. probably the only thing that this head is missing.

Oh so tempting, but I'm glad I resisted. I already have a ton of basses but I'd love one of these.

Dean is such an underrated bass. I have a Dean Edge Quilt 5er and it is badass. The preamp is a little noisy but other than that is is a winner.

I have several high end basses such as 3 Warwicks, a MIA Jazz and a Squire from back in 98 (my first bass not high end). But my dean is really nice and gets played even with my higher quality arsenal.
