Double Bass Updated page turning pedal

Nice.

Would it be possible to have more than two plus one switches with this board?
Next/previous piece is common for four button page turners but there are also some with six buttons.

On the other hand the ergonomics might even more important.
I like to have my weight distributed to both feet when standing. Then I have two problems.
I don’t like to rise the front part of my right foot almost all the time not pressing down a button and when I move a bit while playing I might not find the position and right side of the pedal.

Using a commercially available page turner (AirTurn PED, I better like no rechargeable battery because in an emergency changing the battery is quicker than recharging the internal one) I made a block of wood, one to two cm higher than the pedals that goes in between. I can locate the pedal by this high spot without pressing down a switch and can put my weight on the wood block all the time and tilt my foot to the left or right to operate the switch.

Not optimal, a soft shoe won’t work, but a lot better than before and a simple solution.

The nice thing is that the switches of the PED and PED Pro are very silent, others would be much too loud (like my cheap Chinese page turner), specially if used in quieter acoustic ensembles.

Thanks. I started my own project a couple of years ago, but ended up with a iRig BlueTurn instead.

My project was built around a arduino and a BT board.
