Great looking Squier.
I have my own modded bass. It's a MIM Fender black label "Squier Series" which is it's own story. I found it in a pawn shop for $110 with 3 strings and it looked like hell warmed over. I took it apart and cleaned all the crud off it. New strings, a wiring harness (new pots and cap), and a pick guard later and I had a great playing guitar. I'd put it up against any other new MIM Fender P Bass. Then I splurged and put in Custom Shop hand wound '62 P Bass pickup and that thing is sweet. I also have an Elite Jazz and a Geddy Lee signature jazz and this pawn shop bass splits playing time with those two about evenly. The tone is great and the neck feel fine all for a total of less than $325 invested. I now frequently walk through pawn shops on my lunch break waiting for any Squier P Bass I can do similar things to.
