    Finding myself P bass heavy, and this one should not be getting ignored!

    Considering finding this sweet player a new home.

    SOLD - Squier VM P5 (with mods)

    Quoting previous thread about the Super Squier mods:

    “The pickups have been changed to Fender American Standard, the pots are CTS, Orange drop cap, the jack is Switchcraft and the knobs are Fender too. It's been shielded and has a high mass bridge. Truss rod turns and saddles adjust with no issues. I put the pearl white pickguard on, and in doing so I had to carve a little bit more of the hole for the pup, it's not perfect, but barely noticable. I will also include the tort pickguard that came with the bass.”

    $375 + shipping.

    Would consider trading +/- for a good Tele or Strat.

    These are lovely basses. I am very fond of mine. Plays and sounds fantastic.

    Thanks. They are definitely nice basses, and I should really keep this ... especially with the upgrades. Someone should snag this before good reasoning returns. ;)

    This is a great bass. I just always reach for my Dingwall Super PJ5.

    No trades, but might flex a bit on price.

    PO says 9.2 lbs in the linked thread. Sounds about right, but I can check on my bathroom scale.

    Repeated measurements gives me 9.4 lbs on my digital bathroom scale.
